Long time without posting...

I just got back from Uganda and Africa Source II. It was great. I”ll post lots more about it when i get a chance. For now you can see notes from one of my sessions “how to talk to programmers” which i did with Becky from Fahamu.

Right before i left for Uganda there was a bug in my typo install, typo sucks btw… so i couldn’t blog. I posted some photos on flickr and will be posting some more of my visit with the gorillas.

Now i’m at the O’Reilly Emerging Telephony Conference, which is really interesting, but totally different from Africa Source. Tomorrow i’m co-presenting a short talk about mobile phone communities and telephony activism. It’s bundled with Tad’s speakeasy immigrant community phone system and a talk about Inveneo’s rural phone system / access points which was also presented at Africa Source II.
