I’m not sure if anybody is getting these, but i’ve started noticing some comment spam in chinese. There’s a bit of english, usually relevant to my blog post, then a few characters of chinese with a link to a blog. When i use google translator i get pages like this and this. The are all on the site mqblog.cn, which from the translation looks like it might be just a whole site of enterprise blog spammers. Anybody who knows chinese and can get a better sense of what’s happening?

Noticed that too. Generally speaking, I noticed A LOT of chinese spam these days. Seems like my “spam” folder in gmail is 50% chinese.

As far as I can tell (I’m no Chinese expert, but I’m learning) it just seems like some blog network from China; maybe they have some sort of ads they’re trying to get more hits on or something. I’m sure PageRank or something similar has something to do with it, too. Maybe they found you by having bots going through indyblogs or something…who knows what they’re doing? It could be someone being paid to spam blogs, too; I’ve heard of that happening.
