First Persian Podcast?

Yesterday Podcasting News announced the first persian podcast, the bbc world service program, Rooze haftom. It’s great that the BBC has been moving so quickly in to podcasting, and not just their english language content.

But it got me thinking, are we really seeing the first podcast in persian, in August 2005?

Turns out that the bbc program is far from the first persian podcast. Odeo’s tracking 5 podcasts in persian, one of which, Haftegi Radio has been podcasting since February.
