deploying & release management on rails

Jamis has a post about how deployment and release management on rails works at 37 signals. It’s pretty similar to how we do it at odeo except we use a seperate script and don’t have it integrated in to rake.

The approch is way more agile and sustainable than the labor intenstive weeks long process which was u sed when i was working at anyday.com / palm with a big jsp / java app.
