Polimedia Lab at the Sheffield Social Forum

Looks like there is going to be an indymedia / polimedia lab at the Sheffield Social Forum this weekend. This kind of thing is happening on a more regular basis. Setting up an indymedia style media center during a social forum or media conference. There was a small media lab setup during the Foro de Acá in Uruguay last November, and a much larger one at the WSIS! We Sieze! events in Geneva last December. There’s plans a similar space at the OurMedia conference in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Perhaps it’d be a good idea to setup a wiki to allow for collaboration and documentation about what’s useful in terms of these kinds of ‘polimedia lab’ spaces.
