For the last couple of weeks i’ve been the defacto sysadmin for odeo as we worked to bring somebody on to do that. It’s not a position i like to be in, but the servers needed to be setup and i knew more or less what needed to be done, so i did it. Unfortunately it meant that my progress in all the other tasks slowed way down.
Now that i’ve stopped doing the sysadmin work i’m amazed. I’m flying through tasks. Twice in a row i’ve ended the day will everything done off of my bugs / todo list. It’s a wonderful feeling.
