Well, today Evan Williams (the other evan in odeo) gave a talk about Odeo to a less exclusive audience than ted.
We’ve been working away, moving in to our new digs down in soma, and hacking away on our servers, killing the last of the bugs, and getting ready for the onslaught of users.
Once nice thing about the presentation is real bloggers get to see it, check out the screenshots, and generally get a sense of what we’re really doing. We’ve been handing out sneek previews, but this is the first mass showing. It’s good to hear the positive reactions from folks.
The other night i was hanging out with e and m from videoactivism.org and we were chatting about how podcasting relates to media activism and pirate radio. I’ve also been talking to mic at freespeech radio news about how they might be able to do podcasting or use odeo. The other major pacifica show, democracy now is more web savvy, and has a good website, transcripts, and they’ve been podcasting for for a while.
